If everyone was paid fairly, and these pants did no damage to the planet … how much would they cost?

Goodness gracious. I actually started this essay by writing, “clothing is more expensive. I think this is a good thing.” I didn’t think it would be that expensive!

Those are the Multi-Gauge Knit pants from St.John. I have never gone shopping on a new clothing site. Ever. So, I am actually somewhat removed from what clothing actually costs when a person buys it new. I had no idea that St.John sold $1,000 pants.

My first shock upon visiting the site was not the prices, though … it was the models.
