Blend or pop?

well, first let's think about from what.

Some of us dress to blend and others dress to pop.

Before we can consider where a character falls on the blend/pop continuum - you have to parse apart the context. The ‘into’ and the ‘out of’ from which we are blending and popping.

The first place we tend to think about is people. I have come to think, first of all, about the pavement. Or the walls, or the floor.

All three were taken by Rene Burri in 1978 on 5th Avenue. So, that could be the same apartment...or a trend in green paint and sheer curtains.

All of the above are the same street, albeit on opposite ends of the same island. The outside world is grey and the inside is what the residents want it to be.
