Conversations with young teenagers are efficient. And surprising. Delivered deadpan.

I live with this young teen. And, I always need to ask his opinion, because I can never predict it. Every single one of his responses to Lynne Alvarez’s Eddie Mundo Edmundo got a, “really ?!” from me.

I am searching for plays that will fly in a mixed age room. A decade ago A.C.T. in San Francisco noticed that not enough of these existed, so they commissioned a bunch.

Eddie Mundo Edmundo is my favorite of the batch of 4 I just read. So, I asked my 13 year old to read it.
