you should definitely go see this show if it comes to you…

but if you are me, avert your eyes.

I’m about to write about John Proctor is the Villain. How to think about a play without becoming excited and a little obsessed? If you have ideas, please let me know. I cannot see a play and not think about filling the seats with an ideal audience, and then producing it again in a school.

I tend to like everything I see. I don’t think they are perfect! wonderful! new members of the cannon! … well, actually, I usually do feel that way about every show I see …

a play will take over my mind for somewhere between two and four weeks. This is a great fun problem to have if the plays I see align with the way I am looking to serve the world - schools and small theaters with age-diverse shows.
