I see these kids on the street everyday. I remember the years that it was necessary to wield the power to disappear into a shadow by dressing like one. I have never gotten to spend an hour with one of these young people on stage. It was an eye-opening privilege.



I wish everyone could see Fat Ham. Definitely before ever seeing Hamlet. And after seeing the Lion King. There is just the problem of the porn….
The answer to To-Be-Or-Not-To-Be? in Fat Ham involves intimate relations with a mildly mutilated Gingerbread man. Recounted, not reenacted. I have never encountered a better response to the To-Be question. I am better able to err on the side of enjoyment, not anguish after having heard that speech.
