All great directors put the good ideas into their back pockets and head to their home theaters to give them a go.

in 2009 a great director sat in the audience of another great director’s Our Town in Manhattan. I guess great director #1 loved it because he went home to Atlanta to do his own production …

with a few marked similarities.

1. Modern dress. (not early 1900’s)

   

   or 1990’s dress. I can’t quite tell. Both would be ‘modern’ if this is the teen scene.

2. A real breakfast cooked onstage in Act 3.

   (no photo can well describe the smell of bacon…thank goodness…my semi-vegetarian kids walk around the playground declaring, ‘we have the meats!’ Arby’s commercials inspire them so.)
