Again, this was just optics, not emotions. The closing performance for the Huntington’s Fat Ham was buzz-y and electric, even before the show started, 15 minutes late.
My kid and I were the last to be seated. We were on the waitlist. The box office had to search through subscriber unclaimed seats to find 2 seats that they could sell us. This was very kind, and the show was a good five minutes extra late because they did this for us.
Quick tip for getting tickets: bring a sweet-faced 13 year old in Timberlands to stand next to you when you beg.
