sewing mic pacs into naked actors’ hair. $150.
(They were wearing robes when I was working on them.)
I would braid a 3”x4” rectangle into the actor’s best skull divot. All of us have lumpy heads under some hair. A lucky few of us have a full-blown pothole north of the occipital bone. I sewed a mic transmitter pack onto that braid patch, and then artfully pinned and sprayed some hair over the pack and taped the little mic head to their foreheads under a little fringe.
It didn’t work wonderfully well. So, I painted the mic pack covers and sewed some fake hair onto them.
Wonderful. Full naked, no wires.
