Just read the script.

Seek no outside input. If someone tries to give you some, smile and nod while singing a song very loudly in your head.

Maybe don’t even look at the theater it will be in. If you know where the show has to happen, just put it out of your mind. All plays are first staged in that dream void in your head.

Like, just read the script and at most note some feelings? Maybe. That may be the right idea.
