See it Twice; a double cast

Oooooo…how wonderful. I have never gotten to see a show with 2 totally different casts one after the other. I love an understudy show followed by the regular performers. The Evita understudy was different in every way from Shereen Pimental in the recent production in Cambridge and DC and I love love loved them both. It was particularly interesting to notice my reaction to seeing 2 different people wielding their own particular style of gender power.

What a fabulous introduction to a theater company whose work I have never seen before! At the sitting shiva/wake for New Rep in Watertown the director of Setu, Subrata Das, introduced himself to me and offered me tickets to Andha Yug this weekend.
