No doubt the Legally Blond production team is full of animal lovers. That is the upcoming show in Cambridge whose only discount ticket program involves donating dog or cat food. If your favorite person in the whole world is your dog, wouldn’t it warm your heart walking into work to a big pile of dog food ready to donate to similarly saintly dogs in need?

Most theaters welcome my kids into the workplace, but some require a lot of negotiation to even get them past the lobby. A lot folks love their dogs as much as I love my kids. I have only ever seen one (awesome, wonderful) theater be fully dog friendly. A couple of theaters I have worked with have performances with free babysitting; do any have free dog-sitting? An actress I know that started an organization that provides childcare for actors, has just landed a role in a Broadway show and expanded the childcare service to Saturday matinee patrons. Have any theaters considered free dog-walking during the show?
