This year, for the solstice holidays, I would like both kinds of Dramaturg. Getting a gift as sparkly beautiful as a dramaturg, let alone two, would feel greedy and indulgent if everyone didn’t get the same gift. So, this December, I am wishing for 2 Dramaturgs for every child.
I will share my pair with my nearest million neighbors. I suggest everyone else do the same. Boston and North Dakota have roughly the same size populations. So, my Dramaturgs would be Citywide; and North Dakotas’ would be Statewide. Sharing one’s Dramaturgs is not only more economical; (I suggest this position be honored with a living wage - in Boston, someone with 3 dependents needs to earn $180,000 a year according to MIT’s living wage calculator) Sharing would unify us and help us to see each other’s diversity.
