We can make it from Atlanta, GA’s Virginia Highland Church with its Renegade Theater in the basement to Concord, NC’s Old Courthouse Theater in 27 hours on a bike.
The nice thing about getting places on a bike is
you have to go slowly (if you are me and you are not capable of going fast), so you look around.
you have to stop for drinks and food every couple of miles (if you are me and you are going very slowly … because you bike slow … and because you ate too much at all of those pit stops)
Only one bad thing,
you fear for your life the whole time … none of these are bike trails
I am going to cut that fear in half by tricking out my bike with lights and other bits of flash that drivers can see from a distance:


If you are joining me on your own bike or in the sidecar you can choose the music - the other key to not getting hit on a small two-lane road. They have to hear us before they see us.
