as in, advice retold to me from my mom in the 1980’s; out of the mouth of my grandmother, maybe in the 1960’s.
“Make a simple pattern out of a wazo (pronounced wah (wide open mouth) -zō) fabric.” That must be her very own word. I have not heard it before or since. It means awesome, spectacular, shocking, resplendent.
