It is time to delete some plays.
and incinerate some sketches.
send some tiny model pieces to the set design scrapyard.
Some wonderful plays no longer fit the folks I aim to serve.
which is:
Small theaters and schools doing their absolute best work with a very very diverse range of plays.
and
All theaters having sold-out audiences at every show/ Everyone who might enjoy a show getting to go.
so, an awesome high-quality, super exciting theater scene available to everyone.
….in the USA.
...who wants to be a part of said theater scene.
(if I am being honest, I do want that for everyone in the world - if that’s what they want for themselves elsewhere…but deep down I know I am very very American, and I stick to what I know.)
